Inside a Perlick: ownership, design and service
Perlick is a family-owned Milwaukee company best known for commercial bar and beverage equipment and for premium undercounter refrigeration for homes. Its residential line includes refrigerators, beverage centers, wine reserves, ice makers and outdoor models. Perlick began in Milwaukee in 1917 and built its name supplying brewery and tavern equipment before expanding into residential refrigeration. Its commercial side supplies bar dispensing systems, beer equipment and back-bar refrigeration.
The features that matter most for service are front-venting undercounter refrigeration, commercial-grade beverage and beer dispensing, stainless steel interiors, and outdoor-rated undercounter models. Perlick undercounter units breathe through the front grille, so a blocked toe-kick or grille causes warm temperatures that look like a sealed-system failure.
Repair Service Shaped Around San Diego Homes
In Downtown San Diego we work on Perlick appliances in high-rise condos in East Village, Little Italy and the Marina district, and the process is the same in each: diagnose in place, quote in writing, then repair. Many towers require an elevator reservation or a loading-dock check-in for service visits, so tell us your building's rules when you book. We're an independent repair company: you see a written estimate first, and finished repairs carry a 90-day parts and 30-day labor warranty. If your Perlick is still under the manufacturer's warranty, contact Perlick first so the repair is covered.
