Wipe the gasket dry after the last load of the day, leave the door and detergent drawer open, run a cleaning cycle monthly and use only high-efficiency detergent in the recommended amount. Clean the drain pump filter, usually behind a small door at the bottom front, every couple of months. If the washer will not drain or shows a drain error, check this filter first.
