Local factors for cooktop repair in Ocean Beach
If a gas cooktop ever smells of gas, leave the house and call SDG&E or 911 from outside before anything else. Short of that, a burner that clicks but won't light is usually a dirty or cracked igniter, and an oven that won't heat is often a weak igniter or a failed element.
Problems worth ruling out first on a cooktop in Ocean Beach:
- Burner Not Working
- Gas Smell
- Gas Burner Not Lighting
- All Gas Burners Not Lighting
- Electric Burner Not Heating
- Induction Burner Not Working
Known weak spots on Thor cooktops
- Burners clicking
- Burner not lighting
- Low flame
- Induction zone fault
Pro-style rangetops route several burners through one spark module, so a single wet or failing knob switch can set every igniter clicking. Heavy cast grates make it easy to knock burner caps out of position, which causes uneven flames or no ignition at all. Valve failures are uncommon and should be confirmed only after the igniter, cap and ports have been checked.
