Oven conditions in Scripps Ranch & Rancho Peñasquitos
Santa Ana wind events bring heat waves and the occasional outage to Scripps Ranch & Rancho Peñasquitos, and the surge when power returns is hard on electronic control boards. On a oven, most no-heat problems come down to an igniter, a bake or broil element, or a temperature sensor, and we test each before ordering parts.
Problems worth ruling out first on a oven in Scripps Ranch & Rancho Peñasquitos:
- Display / Control Issue
- Control Board Failure
- Numeric Error Code (F-Code)
- Oven Display Dim or Partially Dark
- Oven Not Heating
- Burner Not Working
Known weak spots on Thor ovens and ranges
- Oven not reaching temperature
- Broiler not lighting
- Convection fan stopped
- Door hinge loose
When a Thor oven does not heat evenly, a failing igniter, element or thermostat is the usual cause. If it turns out to be the door hinges, the parts and labor go into a written estimate first, and the finished work is covered for 90 days on parts and 30 on labor.
