What Carmel Valley, Del Mar & Solana Beach does to a stove
If a gas stove ever smells of gas, leave the house and call SDG&E or 911 from outside before anything else. Short of that, a burner that clicks but won't light is usually a dirty or cracked igniter, and an oven that won't heat is often a weak igniter or a failed element.
Problems worth ruling out first on a stove in Carmel Valley, Del Mar & Solana Beach:
- Burner Not Heating
- Gas Odor from Stove
- Gas Burner Not Lighting
- Oven Section Not Heating
- Surface Element Not Heating
- Burner Weak on One Side of Grate
Known weak spots on Thor stoves
- Burner clicking but not lighting
- Uneven flame
- Constant sparking
- Simmer flame going out
On the Thor side of the stove market, the cooktop on Thor gas ranges has sealed high-output burners, a simmer burner and heavy continuous cast-iron grates.
