What Poway & Rancho Bernardo does to a washer
Washer problems in Poway & Rancho Bernardo usually start where water comes in or goes out: scaled inlet screens from hard water, a clogged pump filter, or a worn drain pump. Each is a repair, not a reason to replace the machine.
Problems worth ruling out first on a washer in Poway & Rancho Bernardo:
- Not Draining
- Not Filling with Water
- Filling Too Slowly
- Overfilling with Water
- Not Draining Completely
- Drain Pump Failure
Known weak spots on GE washers
- Top-loader stops before the spin cycle
- Front-loader shows a drain error
- Lid lock or door lock fault
- Loud banging during spin
Do not overload the drum, and use the right amount of HE detergent; too much soap causes more problems than too little. Have the model and serial ready when you call about loud banging during spin; it lets us check parts first.
